Manual Low Torque Tool (API 17D, ISO 13628-
The Manual Torque Tool is designed to allow the ROV manipulator operation of API
17D, ISO 13628-
ToolTec have developed a flexible complaint tool mount to give a controlled compliance between the tool being used and the ROV manipulator in operation. It is completely failsafe due to the integral mechanical link between the flanges such there is no potential for the tool to be lost by failure of the flexible element within the compliant mount.
Manual Low Torque Tool (API 17H TYPE A, B & C)
The Manual Torque Tool is designed to allow ROV manipulator operation of API 17H
type A or B low torque rotary valve interfaces. The tool features an adjustable torque
limiting clutch mechanism, which acts to limit the maximum torque that can be transmitted
from the ROV manipulator to the valve stem during an ROV intervention operation,
mitigating against the possibility of potentially over-
ROV Operated ball Valve
ToolTec can supply standard design or bespoke variations of ROV actuation interfaces for the operation of hydraulic ball valves by ROV, either by manipulator or via a suitable torque tool.

Heavy Duty Docking Probe to ISO 13628-
The ToolTec heavy duty docking probe (latch) is used subsea for a variety of purposes; typical examples are for thesecure docking of Tooling Deployment Units (TDU) onto subsea hardware, ROV docking onto subsea structures and large surface deployed tooling such as ROV drills.
Surface Torque Verification Unit
The surface verification unit (deck analyser) is a portable device to allow accurate
torque verification against a calibrated torque transducer. The unit is manufactured
form aluminium making it lightweight and easy to handle. It can provide torque verification
up to 3000 Nm which enables it to cover ISO 13628-
ToolTec standard ROV handles are the ideal choice for operators, as they are suited to intermeshing and parallel manipulator jaws. These robust handles are manufactured from stainless steel and xylan coated orange to provide easy visual identification.
